Driven by a passion to help individuals in the business world unlock their full potential, Business Coaching Akademi was founded by two ICF-accredited professional coaches, Tuna Aktuna and Uğur Emiroğlu. The founders first met in 2017 while volunteering as coaches for the TED-ICF 10,000 Young Torches Brighter Turkey Career Coaching project. By 2020, they had no idea that the project would be honored by ICF Global in the “Gift of Coaching” program. During the project, they volunteered as both team coaches and one-on-one coaches for students. It is no coincidence that social responsibility projects are among the top places where people get to know each other best. Volunteer work allows for clearer observation and experience in trust, communication, responsibilities, dedication, knowledge, and teamwork. Through this volunteer work, the two partners got to know each other better.

As their friendship grew over the years, Tuna Aktuna and Uğur Emiroğlu decided in August 2020 to consolidate their professional coaching efforts under one Akademi. Their aim was to extend the coaching culture, a modern management system, to more companies and strengthen them with professional coaching services. They quickly decided on the company name, branding it as Business Coaching Akademi. Its official name in the Commercial Registry was determined as BuCo Akademi Danışmanlık A.Ş. The company was established and began its operations.

Today, Business Coaching Akademi offers executive coaching and team coaching services to companies. It designs and implements coaching, mentoring, and consultancy programs tailored to the needs of organizations, building its program designs on a solid coaching foundation.
