Tuna Aktuna

“Learning enthusiast” Tuna Aktuna was born in Istanbul in 1975. He graduated from Marmara University with a degree in Labor Economics & Industrial Relations in 1997. In 2005, he received an MBA degree in International Marketing from Yeditepe University.

He started his professional career in 1996. He worked as the CFO at Banksoft, a company that provides payment system software solutions in the banking sector. Today, the company is one of the leading software firms in its sector and partners with Microsoft, VISA, and Mastercard. It offers payment system software, integration, and consultancy services to 10 different countries with its banking software solutions. During his 23 years of active business life, his national and international experiences included forming talented and productive teams in information technology, integrating them into the company culture to ensure sustainability, managing high-level customer relationships, overseeing audits, developing business, managing negotiations and contracts, making strategic decisions, and managing assets as a corporate investor.

His coaching journey began with his curiosity for learning and interest in human potential. After completing ACTP coaching training, he became an internationally certified coach with the PCC (Professional Coach Certificate) from the ICF. He completed his training with Erickson Coaching International and received the NLP Master title. He also completed his training in Transactional Analysis (TA). He finished the Train the Trainer Certificate programs at Marmara University and completed the Inner Game International School’s Train the Trainer and Inner Game Facilitator training.

From 2020-2022, he served as a Board Member and Vice President of ICF Turkey. He designed and led the 10,000 Young Flames for a Brighter Turkey Career Coaching project in collaboration with ICF Turkey & TED (Turkish Education Association). The project received the “Gift of Coaching” award from ICF Global in 2020.

He is a licensed veteran tennis player with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF). He is one of the founders of the Tennis Arena Platform. With over 1500 hours of professional Executive Coaching and Team Coaching experience, he offers coaching programs to individuals and institutions aiming to achieve their goals. He is a founding partner of Business Coaching (BuCo Akademi Danışmanlık A.Ş). He is a member of ICF Global and Turkey, Peryön, and the Nature Association.
